The GIE Dar Al Zaafaran plays a role of integrator of the producers for the valorization and the marketing of the saffron.
- This group of cooperatives contributes to:
- development of the saffron sector and the living conditions of producers
- elimination of too many intermediaries,
- Direct marketing to specialized stores, private individuals, etc

- Guarantee the quality and authenticity of the product by dint of a reliable and reliable traceability system
- Group the production to be able to satisfy the requested quantities
- Build a direct distribution network to avoid too many intermediaries
- 25 member cooperatives
- 1250 families benefiting from the services of EIG Dar Al Zaafaran
- 500 hectares cultivated to produce a natural saffron
- 1000 Kg as production capacity of EIG Dar Al Zaafaran
